Are you a runner whose grown accustomed to the same landscapes & challenges in a familiar environment? Evolo’s race events will take you to a whole new level! Maybe you’re a runner inhibited to race or perhaps not a runner at all – Evolo is still for you! Evolo, loosely translated means to move forward; to constantly progress. And with Evolo Race Events, taking flight is inevitable & rewarding.
The K2M, or Kura to Mount (Papakura to Mount Maunganui), is a non-stop overnight running relay covering a distance of more than 300km through the beautiful back country of New Zealand's North Island. This unique relay format makes the K2M an accessible race for beginners yet challenging enough for the most competitive runners. You & your mates will take turns running day & overnight through some of the most beautiful, challenging, & exciting terrain a race course can offer - guaranteed to be the craziest 30 hours of your life! At the end of your amazing experience, you’ll be rallied over the finish line on the beach of Mount Maunganui by your fellow racers & spirited Kiwi community. A portion of all proceeds for the K2M go to Cure Kids, an organization dedicated to finding cures for life-threatening illnesses in children. The K2M is definitely a bucket list item - close to Kiwi hearts & gaining momentum as a destination race.
